Needs an update

Every time I open the app, I get a message saying, "may slow down your iPhone. The developer of this app needs to update it to improve its capability." Please fix this issue.

A Waste of Money

I bought my Lorex security system from B&H Photo in NYC. They told me it was one of the best on the market. WRONG!!!! You can not view remotely as they claim. It has to be rebooted all the time (almost everyday) because the cameras lock into an image and freeze! Tech Support is in Colombia. They are very friendly and try to be helpful. The bottom line... a waste of time... no reliable solutions! My recommendation is to stay away from this product!

What a pain

I have had this app for some time and have resisted writing a review in hopes things would improve. They have not! I installed the app and successfully connected to my cameras. The next day I can not get connected. I receive a "Connection Failure" message. Talked with support. Their solution......uninstall then re-install the app. Did that and it will work for the one day I re-install it and the next day its back to "connection failure". I am not changing any paramenters. Just doing basic install and connection. Why can it work one day and not the next. Cant be removing and re-installing every day. I am giving it two stars because when it works, it works. But when it doesnt... WHAT A PAIN!!!!!

Got it working in 3 minutes

Fantastic.. I tried all other lorex apps for my ECO4 960H system, and nothing worked. This app worked right away. Good...

Works great

Works great for me. To by pass the need for port mapping I use an internal VPN. Theres a bit of lag time between whats displayed and real time but its very acceptable. Made installing the cams in the right place super easy too!

Please dont buy!

We got LH03045G from Costco and installed ECO Stratus. I would say the connection is very unstable and failed to connect to device multiple times. Considering return it back and looking for another brand.

Average

It is nice to be able to see your cameras but it would be an even better app if it provided notifications of motion deteced instead of relying on emails.

Fix the glitches!

The app only works for a few days, then fails to connect to my Lorex recorder. So when I get a call from the alarm company at 3 am, and I cant connect using the app, I have to get up and drive across town to find out that a pigeon has tripped the motion sensor, instead of just opening the app. It would be a great app, if it worked. Lorex, please fix it. For reals. Ill be your best friend.

Good App when not crashing

Great app, needs an update tho. Crashes for no reason intermittently. Good split screen, great remote playback.

You update the app and its WORSE?!

Way to go guys... Way to make a sucky security system WORSE! DONT BUY THIS SYSTEM! Its about as reliable as an honest congressman.

Unstablility causing unhappy customers

I have installed the Lorex system in 4 different location and now getting individuals calling me telling me this is a horrible system because they cannot see live video on iphone and ipad apps. One person had a different older camera setup with a different app combination that allowed them to view reliably for over 6 years. Please release an update soon!

Garbage

It worked well for one day...now NEVER connects to live view from phone OR IPad....absolutely useless!

Returned it

I purchased the lorex cameras and I was so happy with the quality if the cameras! The night vision is amazing! It was very upsetting that they "say" you can view from mobile phone while away, but this is false advertising. Obviously by all the horrible reviews. I never would have purchased this product if I just would have read the reviews first. -my fault. I called tech support number to see if maybe they could help me. I waited 40 minutes before I reached a representative, only to get someone on the other line that spoke broken English and was so annoyed by my phone call. He asked to connect remotely to my computer. He was frustrated my computer was slow (even though you dont even need a PC for this product) an hour and a half later, at end of the call the tech rep told me he couldnt help me and I had to figure it out myself.

No connection

Well I read some complaints about not being able to connect. Put system in yesterday, downloaded app. worked great, today it will not connect. Oh well it was great while it lasted.

Worst app ever.

I was pleased to know that I would be able to remotely view the cameras on my phone, only to be disappointed. This app would not even connect to me device. Ive called Costcos concierge service three times, each call was well over an hour long. After the third attempt, they said I need to call Lorex. Lorexs website says the close at 7 eastern time, but when I called the answering machine said they close at 5. Seriously! This is now way to run a business. This app really is the bottom of the barrel. Camera are great, the 1080p quality is amazing.

Poorly desighned app

It seemed like a good ides to have an appt hat lets you monitor the home cameras remotely while travelling. But it has connection issues as many reviews have already mentioned. What is the point of having an app that does not connect to the server? Lorex needs to completely redesign this.

System works great, mobile app not so much. Good thing the app wasnt the reason I purchased the system or it would be going back. Hey Lorex, how about some updates to make this app current?
